Pisco’s journey reached the shores of San Francisco during the Gold Rush, where it quickly became the city’s most celebrated libation. The legendary Bank Exchange bar became renowned for its signature Pisco Punch—a favorite of literary greats like Mark Twain and a symbol of a golden era.
